The core elements of the program include:-
1) Proactive Leadership
Proactive people respond based on their values. They are able to subordinate a feeling, to the level of a value. They are people who are able to recognise the gap between stimuli and response that is, they can choose how to respond.
It isn't what happens to us, it's our response to what happens to us that makes us what we are. This part of the Leadership Development Program shows how we can refine our behaviour to best cope with a range of external stimuli and pressures.
2) Clarity in Direction
If Proactive Leadership tells you why you can and should do it this module shows you how to write the script that gives you the direction in going forward. You will develop and integrate your personal and/or your business purpose statements, values and roles. You will begin to answer the questions, ‘What am I about?’ and ‘What do I stand for?’
3) Self Management
Time management or more correctly, self-management is the key to getting the things you want done. It is the execution and implementation of the plan.
You will learn how to discern between the important and urgent and how to assign activity to achieve balance in each of your roles at work and personally.
Our busy lifestyle combined with our increasing responsibilities can lead us away from a balanced approach to our work and our personal life. This element of coaching will help you identify the key areas of focus and the system that best suits you in achieving and maintaining balance in career and finances, relationships, health as well as socially and spiritually. You will learn how easy it is to create better habits.
4) Dealing Successfully with Others
The profile of a person who practices win/win philosophy is amiable, friendly but tough and courageous. They are totally honest and open and they encourage the same from others.
In this module you will learn what makes others think and behave the way they do and what you can do to accommodate different personalities while staying true to your purpose and values.
You will learn how to use the cycle of trust process to instil confidence in others while developing their trust in you. You will learn how to become an empathetic listener and how to develop independence, motivation, self respect, honesty, and integrity in others.
5) Team Management
This element of coaching is directly applicable to business owners and managers and deals with synergistic team development. Synergy is where the whole becomes greater than the sum of the individual parts.
For business managers and leaders, using this process to its potential within the workplace delivers results well beyond expectations.
